Our Story
UpTheValley Speckle Park stud was established in 2018 with the vision of breeding cattle that perform well under hard commercial conditions. Starting our journey in the Manawatu, the team at UpTheValley, focused on producing a breeding herd with strong maternal genetics, soundness, and good temperament.
Our Farmland
400ha of mixed contour farmland situated in the Manawatu. UpTheValley speckle park cattle get put to the test cleaning up rough pasture, on steep hills, all while producing quality offspring.
Breeding Objective
UpTheValleys main objectives are to produce cattle that preform well in hard commercial conditions, have structural soundness, quite temperament, and exceptional meat characteristics. UpTheValley utilises Breedplan as a tool for selection, however, the animal must perform on farm to be consider for breeding.
